A very slow round - first couple of holes was the regular slow start. Get to number 6 (the long per 4) and it seems like it speeds up. Well not this day. Every hole waiting, we were behind a tournament that had 5 someone's in the groups?

The course was not in the best condition - I have played this course on several occassions and the course was down compared to its normal history. Maybe they are not watering the course? Tee boxes were just okay, Greens were 1/2 punched and the holes were cut in wierd places - real close to the edges. Fairways were okay but dry.

We did see the cart attendant, however she di not want to have anything to do with our group. on several occassions she just rolled right by us??? - Also she kept her cart LOCKEd - so you had to guess what she had, she claims that she is told to keep it locked? Really, people are going to steal water and gatorade, golf is supposed to be honest - and she locked it right in front of me as well - what is up with that???

It was an interesting day - but there is some good. The ladies that are in the clubhouse snack shop are very nice and very attentative - they always smaile and are always working to make sure you have a great day.

Pace of play was pretty bad, But we were a couple groups in back of following a scramble tourney. So it was not a surprise. The greens were really bad, they are aerating. Slow extremely bumpy and sandy. The pin placement on every green was two paces from the edge, be it front, side , or back of the green. It made putting to them a headache. Hopefully when they have healed they will be true and fast, as I remember them being here. Until then, I won't be spending $51 to play this course again. There are some really long par four holes out there. Fairways are wide on a lot of them though.
Sand traps were many , but they had really good sand. The snack shack was closed when we went by around 3pm. We did see the beverage cart a few times as she raced by, to catch the tournament, I guess. BYO just in case. Enough elevation changes to warrant a cart, cause we played earlier in the day and needed to ride on this one. Good layout of many of the holes, not a boring course at all.

for a course that gets a ton of play...the conditions are great...greens are the best i have seen. check out online for deals....crowded but a great track

Played Sunday. Greens are horribly bumpy. They rolled relatively true but you have to account for the speed with the bumpiness. Fairways in good shape. Rough is getting thick. Pace of play was pretty decent. I think we rolled out of there in just under 5 hours.

The overall condition of the course is good. The fairways, rough, and tee boxes are good. The greens have recovered from recent aeration. They rolled well and held shots. The bunkers are not consistent. One bunker had decent sand and the other had very little sand. The layout is nice with a variety of holes. Although the driving range is small with mats the course has a large practice putting green, practice bunkers, and an area to chip.

Played on 4/14/10, It seems like they just did half of green aerated recently.
Still a lot of sand on a half of green. Disappointed.
but pace of play was good. finished about 4 1/2hr.

Played Sunday. Talk about deserted. We started at 3:30ish. We finished 9 holes in around 1 hr 30mins! Almost finished 18 holes before it got too dark. Thankfully we had a cart and made it hole 16 again to finish our round. This is Twilight golf folks, speed is key. We played with another single in a cart (threesome) and fell behind around 2 holes but managed to catch up after turn and single left. Greens are in good shape especially from areation of half of green last week. You can tell they did some work but the greens should be coming back really soon. Hats off to Greenskeeper here! They now areate half the green 1 month apart and that allows for decent play -- just don't get stuck on the bad side when putting or suffer the consequences. They areate from front to back, so literally half the green and all the elevation changes are there for you to enjoy. Greens were speedy and firm. Sand in bunkers hard packed but very playable. Fairways in great shape for time of year. Tee boxes are bit unlevel but still playable. Enjoyed this and will return especially if you can get out last minute and play 18 holes in under 3 hours! Stay away! OK don't stay away but definitely worth the money if you do decide to come and play.

No areation to speak of yet. These greens were FAST. Played Friday Twilight March 5 and not a soul on the golf course. Finished round in about 4.5 hours. Not bad for twilight and with enough light left to actually leave the course before dark. Greens were immaculate. I mean they rolled where they were supposed to roll. They were soft enough to accept shots but diabolical enough to make you think twice about a long put. Fairways in good shape for time of year. Thank goodness for rain. Rough is thick and very sticky. Sand is firm and does require a strong committed swing. Pace of play was blistering for Friday. We rode so if we needed to jump holes we could have but not necessary given the fact no one in front or behind until back 9.
