Played Saturday in 3 hours at 9 AM. Had not played here in 8 years. Course is 100% perfect, they have used an abundance of sod to fix any spots needing repair and it has worked out very well. Long hitters can score low here, and us short hitter on foreword tees get to hit a lot of shorter irons into greens making scoring good for us. Course goes through a very nice gated community but is amazingly laid out so the homes, better than most, do not crowed play. As with many Palm Desert area courses it is open to the public a very short time in summer and just worth the effort to play in the 100 degree plus weather.

Played 1/14/24 @ 10am. This a private club that opens it's doors on Sundays along with an awesome breakfast/lunch buffet with made to order omelets. It's a great deal for what you get especially this time of the year when they jack up all the prices for the snow birds. The course is lush and green. The rough is juicy and sometimes thick the farther from the fairway you get. Tee boxes level with some divot issues on the par 3s. Fairways were wonderful with no coverage issues at all. Sand traps with ample fluffy sand that made it easy to get out of them. Greens were rolling smooth but not overly fast. I always have a good time playing here, I gain a few pounds from eating so much, but that's a small price to pay...

Played Heritage Palms today on opening day with Michelle and it was cart path only of course.. We teed off at 11:00 and played with Leah and Sue both very good golfers and nicer ladies. The course is extremely lush and very green with nothing out of place tee boxes are excellent and fairways are perfect. The only concern was that greens were a little slower than expected but other than that it was a perfect day and after golf the 4 of us had a nice lunch on the patio. It’s in excellent condition right now and definitely recommended..

Haven't played there in some time. Usually play across the interstate where I live at Sun City Shadow Hills which is nice but there was an Agave tournament there last weekend.

Played here today with a 10:52 TeeOff.com "Deal" time for an amazing rate of something like $37 after using a 20% off promo code. Arrived around 10:10 and was informed there was a 45-minute frost delay this morning, but still checked me in and let me get my cart. I used the range, short game area and practice green, and then started not 45 minutes late but about 30 minutes late. Got paired with another single and a twosome. POP was decent but I think slow for here. Around 4:20 total, including a delay when the group in front of us fell out of position at the turn. Absolutely gorgeous desert day; blue skies, perfect temps, virtually no wind.

Conditions are amazing. The rating number probably won't show it, but overall I'd give it a 9.5. Pretty much everything is just a touch under immaculate. Greens are smooth, medium-fast and medium firmness. Full shots stopped quickly. Fairways are excellent, only ranking them a 9 because I've seen better, but nothing to really criticize at all. Rough is even better than the fairway, just a perfectly groomed carpet of about 2-3 inch deep dark green ryegrass. I caught one flier out of it and other times it did make shots more difficult. Not exactly penal, but definitely a premium on being in the fairway. Gold tee boxes were just about perfect. The only slight blemish was one bunker I was in was very hard packed near the edge, which cost me a shot when there was virtually no way to not blade my shot, which I did.

This was my first time playing the course. I actually had a tee time with a buddy in about 1997, which was when the course was practically brand new. We drove all the way out there and saw such a boring looking, immature course, we decided to skip our time and head to La Quinta Mountain. A quarter century later, the course has matured beautifully. It's a very nice layout slightly reminiscent of Shadow Hills South or the courses at Mountain Vista. I think I'd put it a notch above those courses, though. One very minor criticism: From the gold tees, three of the four par 3s all played very similar distances. Overall, it was a great experience and probably the nicest conditioned course I've played all year. Highly recommended.

Rode the Golds (6698/72.1/128) in less than 3H mid day on a GN Hot Deal. Played the front with Rick and the back with Brady, who only played 9. Both played quick, probably because it was 110 and clear. Semi-private course that is surrounded by nice homes and condos in a gated community. Arthur Hills design that is around 25 years old. Typical resort type layout. Mostly open with only a few tight shots with several lakes that come prominently in play on a few holes. Enough sand, trees and native areas to get your attention without beating you up with them. Playing conditions were near immaculate. Tees were immaculate, level and lush with hardly a divot anywhere. Fairways lush and nice to play from. Rough lush. Mowed down uniformly low and not very penal. Greenside traps nicely maintained with thick, white sand. Fairway traps were a little more firm. Greens were firm, smooth and putted medium speed. Hardly a ball mark anywhere and you had to play for run out. Customer service was excellent. Quick efficient check-in, attentive cart staff. Beautiful, large clubhouse. Nice practice range that included a chipping area over by the tennis courts. The course would not be very walkable because of the heat and the fact that numerous tees are a long way from the last green. Nice layout that would be good for players of all skill levels. Recommended.

It’s always a pleasure to be here and I was excited to see the course from the practice area as nice as it was. The current overall conditions are amazingly very good in this late summer. It was really a pleasure to play it. It’s not their good winter conditions although about midway from it as their winter conditions are as good as it gets in golf in my opinion. The whole course are just so green and good to play on.

The green fairways ran nicely and cut low which was sweet. Their roughs were pretty healthy in uniform cut and color- pretty classy to look at, but try not to be in it, it’s thick!

The greens were fabulous- again I mean we are in late summer and if you know how late summer conditions usually are in comparison to what they have here now is a real treat to be able to play in this at this time. It is grainy but that’s Bermuda greens for you.

We played the combo tees and those tees were in pretty good conditions. The par three tees were not bad at all- a few groups ahead of us so there were a few divots as expected.

The bunkers had good sand in it and fair. There were a few footprints but not terrible- players there rake their bunkers.

The gate will ask for your tee time and whose tee time and issues a day pass. A staff delivered a cart for me at the parking lot. The staff at check in was smooth and helpful to point out where my group was- it was simply excellent!

It was a very nice day at this resort course with partly cloudy day and very little wind. The day's temps got up to 71 making it a really fun day to be out.

This little course has a lot of members, although it isn't a very exclusive place, every aspect of their course and facilities are at its best: From their tennis courts to their exercise/gym, to their outdoor and indoor pools, bar and restaurant, and the best yet their course that is so well maintained with their (always) new equipment without shortage including the number of their crew.

As a result, their course is at its tiptop shape for play and I was once again very impressed with how cool it is to play it. Their teeing grounds were perfect, and btw, the number one tee has been completed, moving back a few yards. The original practice putting green is now used for chipping area and it's surface is amazingly great- much better than many other playing greens I've been on. The new practice green just south of the old one is also completed and it's conditions are seamlessly wonderful.

The fairways are also amazingly great- it runs well and tightly mowed and we could hardly see any brown spot and that look also goes for the rough that is about 3 inch high and never really being difficult to get out of.

The bunkers are with white sand that are conditioned for good play on all existing bunkers in the fairways and greensides. I was in a few but didn't mind it at all knowing that it will react well if I executed a shot correctly. But of course, no one wants to be in a bunker unless it's a part of the game that could be advantageous if you know what I mean.

The greens are superb, it is one of the best I've played anywhere. They were smooth, fast and true to say the least. Loved it!

There were beverage carts who came around more than a few times. The pro shop didn't take cash, credit cards only to all the guests, and they were pleasant and easy to deal with.

They also have the best brunch buffets in the valley (I think) with plenty of choices of good quality food and beverages.

A place like this is always something I would love to come back and visit and often.

Play date 08.04.19 Weather temperatures got up to triple digits right away. Pace was 10 min under 4 hours. Summer this time of year isn't really a good or a fair assessment of this resort style course' conditions or most any course in the area for that matter. However, the course was in good acceptable playing conditions with the exception of the greens. I'm sure everyone knows the type of grass/greens or what's typical of the lower desert this time of year- coarse Bermuda that makes the ball roll untrue or not smooth at all. Disappointed, yes, but I know that's what's to be expected... so I guess, I'm not that disappointed. :) New practice putting area is currently being built and it is between the first tee and the driving range. The first tee is also being moved back making it 20-30 yards or so longer. Looks like it should be ready by the start of new season. So for now, the #1 is playing pretty short on temporary tee which looks like the old forward tee. The fairways have some browning spots- I suspect it's the rye dead from the heat, the rough is not that deep at all but it's lush- very green. The bunkers' sand quality are very good, too. For $39 greens fee, it includes cart, range use and a breakfast buffet that we all opted to do after the round, making it all worth the calories. I think they have a very good breakfast buffet in the valley, btw. Friendly staff overall. No beverage cart.
