Played on 11/1 early in the morning as a single and was paired up with a 3 some. The front nine is fantastic and almost worth the price on it's own. It's well laid out and in very good condition. The back nine has 4-5 "gimmick" holes and as a first timer, found them to be boarder line unfair. In very few spots can you hit a driver, and landing areas are very, very tight. Almost looked like the builders ran out of money and needed to finish the course quickly. All that being said, the service is fantastic, the course is priced correctly and you'll walk away a happy player.

Gorgeous course, tough, but fun design- can you tell? It's my first round here and definitely a list course to come back and play again.

Some parts of the hill side and the fairways are patchy and are strugling. It isn't so deep green as some friends may have described it in the past, but still a great value and an amazing design.

The greens are nice! Smooth and it rolled true and fast- it isn't soft like a muni- it's hard and good!

Bunkers looks alright... Great course with good service all around. Will definitely be back!

Had a blast and the course is in really nice shape. Used the promo from GKer for 40$ on Saturday the 25th and enjoyed every bit of the day. Service was great: sweet girl brought out a cart to our car for us, really nice, proshop didn't make me show any paperwork for our $40 deal, snack bar and cart girls were awesome, and the starter was hilarious and very informative, think his name was Steve, nice guy and a great way to start the round. When they first opened this course years ago they used to give you a Hershey bar, thought that was pretty cool too. Didn't hit any balls but they have a nice grass range if you do.

Course is in some of the best shape I've seen in many years. Fairways were almost perfect, a couple were still getting some work done, but most of them were just sweet and they didn't mow them that day, so I bet when they do start mowing them consistently, they will be like carpet. Greens were also near perfect, holding shots fairly well and putted very true and smooth, no bumps and stayed online. Found one trap and it was just fine, good fluffy sand. Teeboxes were about the only thing that was a little off. They are still doing some work on them and were a bit fluffy, but they will be just fine in a few more weeks.

Overall, highly recommend you get out there, especially with that unlimited golf offer from GKer, we didn't play any extra holes, because my fiancee isn't really into it, but if you can get out there this week and play all day, I highly recommend it.

A BIG THANK YOU to LEE & his staff for this event...Lee was working hard to make sure the course ran smoothly for the day and that all Participants really enjoyed their round.

I've only played this course "once" and it was a GK event.
Here was an opportunity to play it again, this time for a worthy charity event Breast Cancer. (I've lost my Grandma,Mom,Non-relative Aunt,co-worker etc to this disease).

I packed my yardage book but forgot my laser,my wife brought her GPS unit which worked very well. This course is not well marked other than finding red 100 yd markers and there is a 150 pole on the par 4's & 5's. I think some holes played longer from the "marked" 150 pole. Always best to club up since there is trouble in front of the greens.

OVERALL conditions of the course were in EXCELLENT condition considering courses we are in drought conditions.

BUNKERS: soft sand, never had to hit a shot out of these since we were playing a scramble.

GREENS: Soft conditions,ball was sticking like velcro on most holes. Putts were consistent & true rolling, no complaints here.
Found a few ball marks not being repaired but NOT a major hangup.

FAIRWAYS: Soft but some had some roll left in them...Very good conditions,a few areas had some water prevalent but nothing to be concerned about.

Tee Boxes/Range: All very good condition, small range area but NO actual chipping area :( Putting green very indicative what you will find on the course.

IF you have NOT played this course,get your hands on a yardage/LAYOUT book,it will be of assistance to get around this course which IMHO is a course you need to play a few times.

ALSO, my natural shot is a draw (right to left), I cannot recall a course I've ever played and where I need to play a FADE (left to right) on a majority of tee boxes. This not to say it's a "slicers" dream!!! You still need to execute the proper shot shape for each hole and not leave your approach shot stuck behind a tree or from a hazard.

The Par 3's look easy, but we were scrambling just to $ave par...

I'd love to play this course more often but the 1 1/2 hr drive makes it tough...

It's been almost 5 years since I last played here. Always liked this course, and it was as much fun and enjoyable as I remember. The condition on the first few holes caused me some concern, but as the round progresses, conditions seemed to improve. Greens were the best part of the course. Some of the tee boxes were questionable, but only on the first few holes.

The staff was great, an being second off (Following a single) pace of play not an issue. Overall this is a fun course to play. I find the greens a challenge to hit. Easy to putt once there, but lots of opportunity to leave yourself some interesting up and down shots. I think the think the thing I enjoy most about this course is the total absence of homes. Reminds me of playing La Pruisima

Played 36 on 7-23, once from the blues(white) and once from the golds(blue). The difference between the two is a factor on just about every hole, as it should be but not always is. If you want to score, play the blues, want a challenge, the golds or blacks will bring it on. Course was in very good shape tees to greens, with lots of subtle breaks to the greens, a couple lay-up holes and nice risk to reward decisions to contemplate. Bunkers were okay, but did notice a few rocks in the trap on 6. Most have played this course, and if you haven't use the Greenskeeper coupon and go. No houses bordering the course, lots of variation, and a finishing hole that will have you smiling or wondering what the designer was smoking on that one. They were planting grapes in the open middle area of the front nine, they're not in play but will give that side a nice new visual. I'd say it was busier here than I've seen in the past, but still got around in 4 hours for each round.

Course is immaculate!! One of my favorite courses. It is so quite and peacefull here and rarely ever crowded. You have to go out here and play.

Had a 11:50 tee time with a GK coupon. After warming up I was informed they would be a 40 minute delay due to a morning tourney taking too long. Went off at 12:30 behind the last group of the tourney, that finished their round on the 6th, so it was wide open after that.
POP: just over 4 hours
Tee boxes: a little uneven but very playable
Fairways: wet in spots, shaggy in spots, thin in spots, with mostly a good amount of roll out.
Rough: 2"-3" on average with some thicker spots that were tough to get out of.
Bunkers: wet sand with a thin layer of softish sand on top, maintained, but not soft and fluffy.
Greens: smooth, fast and tricky, but fair. Held well hit elevated shots, but low shots skipped on through.
Layout: really fun and interesting . . . besides 18, which needs some help.
This is a pretty neat course to play and I will definitely be back!
