This was my first time here and I will be back over and over again. This picturesque views and the condition were amazing! Probably the best condition course i have ever played.

service was great, everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

Nice range and short game area with large putting green.

tee boxes were a bit chewed up in places with divots, however plenty of grass. My only gripe other than POP.

fairways were immaculate. never a bad lie, grass was lush and just perfect.

rough was the same way, perfectly manicured.

sand = thanks goodness i never found a bunker. However they looked great!

greens were phenomenal. rolled quick and very true. No bumps and just a few divots that were fresh from the groups in front (no big deal).

I will be back. This place is fantastic and even if you have a bad round, the scenery will make it better!

Played at 8:30am on Saturday 5/23/15, with GKer AMSMike, for our 2nd-round GK Cup Match. This was Mike’s first time here, and we were both very complimentary of the layout, ambience, and conditioning of the course. I think this is the best condition I’ve ever seen OQ in. Greens, fairways, rough, and tees are all lush and provide good roll, great lies, and easy play. I was in one bunker (#9, short of the green) and sand quality was good. Other bunkers throughout the course had been raked and looked to be in great shape. Only complaint - we played the blue tees, but most of the blue markers were moved forward to around the white plates. Especially on the challenging par-3 holes (5, 10, 14) but also on the better par-4 holes (6, 9) this takes a lot of the drama out of the course. We agreed that next time we'd play the plates to get the full value of the layout. Saw the cart girl several times. Shop staff was courteous, cart guys were efficient and cheerful, starter was on top of everything. The course was crowded and we were a twosome behind several foursomes, so play was slow and overall POP was about 5 hours. Food after the round very good, and polite and efficient service. Highly recommended.

Played here 5/22/15. Aside from the sand bunkers, course was in excellent shape. Fairways lush and clean, greens were the fastest and smoothest I've ever seen. (Also, more firm than usual). The bunkers I found, however, (on 4,7,10,12, and 15) were very thin. You would have needed a spatula to get under the ball. I guess if I was more accurate throughout the day, and found more fairways and greens, I wouldn't have needed to complain.
Anyway, great conditions right now, and as always, very good service from the time you park, until the time you leave. Good grub in the clubhouse, and of course a simply magnificent layout.
Great price as well, with my e-mail / website account played prime time Friday morning for $36. ($45 for my guest)
A must play when in the Riverside, LA, OC or San Bernardino county area.

Probably the most picturesque course I've ever played. 18 holes championship quality built into a mountain haha it was awesome!! Played the black tees and really enjoyed it. Some of the elevated tees were exactly to my liking. The course was in pristine condition and I really have nothing bad to say about my visit here last week. The greens were good fairways were perfect and if you go O.B your ball is gone. It puts a premium in getting your shots in the fairway. Good length here on the longer holes, really difficult par 3s and not much else can be said about the 14th it's one of a kind. Will definitely be going back. P.s the club shuttle service was a nice suprise when I arrived. Very cool course. Highly recommend it !!

FINALLY I got out to Oak Quarry! Sixpez and I had a 10:20 tee time today and I loved the course. Conditions were great. Only bummer was the overcast skies – a few times the sun tried to burn off the clouds but the thick cloud cover fought back each time and won out.

Course conditions were very good, highlighted by lush fairways and rough. The greens were mostly smooth and medium to medium fast speed. They accepted shots pretty well, but were firmer than they were soft. The tee boxes were a little inconsistent but nothing bad, just some better than others. I was only in two fairway bunkers and while a little wet, they were fine.

I know I'm late to the party but wow, what a great layout! No. 4 is one of the coolest green sites I've ever encountered anywhere, surrounded by a crescent of rock outcroppings and fantastic bunkering around much of the green. It rivals one of my all-time favorite holes, No. 15 at La Quinta Mountain for such an ideal spot to position a green. And then No. 14 is flat-out one of the most breathtaking holes anywhere. Elsewhere around the course, many holes played deceivingly uphill or downhill where I didn't recognize the elevation change until looking back green to tee. It feels like Schmidt-Curley paid a lot of attention to creating great contours all over the course.

Played here today with Itslikeimsayin. Always love any opportunity to come out and challenge "The Rock." I had a few nice moments, but ultimately it won again! We had a 10:20 tee time and were paired with another twosome who were replaying from the early morning. Pace a bit slow out there around 4:45, but never seemed that bad. Course is in very good shape overall. Tee boxes nice. Fairways and rough mostly really good throughout. Bunkers a bit thin and several had some standing water puddles, presumably left over from the rains this week. Greens rolling well at medium speeds. Still could see minor remnants of aeration on some, but nothing that significantly affected putts. Greens should only get nicer in the coming weeks, so now is a great time to play here. The gloomy weather today didn't really let the visual impact of the course shine in its full glory, but the course was in good shape and the layout is always enjoyable. Such a fun design paired with the unique setting. I'll be looking forward to my next visit!

Played 5/4/15. Best conditions i played all year. Fairways and greens are a notch above what i seen at other courses that cost the same or more to play. Got good lies around the greens, which i think is KEY to golf course conditions. I think they just water more witch cost $$$. Tee boxes are good, not as green as the fairways but FLAT so no complaints. Staff training is great, they are very helpful. Fun course and layout. Only reason you dont want to play this course is because of the drive to the golf course. Will be back for sure.

One of my very favorite courses to play ! Staff is always very accommodating. The course is generally in good condition, but I thought the greens were even better than normal. Rolled very true. Overall course is in very nice shape.

There are so many interesting holes! There are really no bad holes on the course. (However I am not a big fan of #7) Like the fact that the course does NOT come in after nine, so there is no "back nine play" to deal with. I much prefer to walk, but for whatever reason, this course just seems OK to ride. (Unlike Eagle Glen and Hidden Valley, which are totally unwalkable) Oak Quarry could be walked, but just makes life a lot easier every so often to sit back relax.

Played Oak Quarry for the first time on Tuesday 4/21, along with a couple new friends that I have met while playing other courses. Luckily, one of those friends is a member there, so he was good for information about the course. Played for $45 rate based on my other new friend being a fire fighter - nice return on my tax dollars. Good hospitable service by all staff. Weather was overcast the whole time, with relatively cool temps, and a little breezy. Warmed up with a small bucket on the grass driving range, and wish I would have taken the time to roll a few putts on the practice green. We teed off around 9:30, and finished in a little over 4 hours. Never had to wait, and were never pressed by those behind. Marshals were seen several times, and drink cart service came around 4 times. What a fantastic layout! I now understand why so many love the course. Tee boxes were in decent shape, mostly level, with good turf coverage. There were a few tee boxes that were chewed up, but a good tee spot could always be found. Rough was lush with good coverage, not at all penal, easy to play from. I had to play from 2 greenside bunkers, where sand was thin but very playable. It was evident that the sand had been raked by maintenance crew. Fairways were lush, with excellent coverage, and balls sat up and were easy to strike. It appeared that most divots had been fixed, or filled from sand bottles. Green complexes were very interesting, with lots of undulations, and there were a few tough pin placements, like the tiny high point on the middle left side of 13th hole. Though the greens were generally visually appealing, they rolled a little bumpy and slower than expected. The sixth green in particular was in need of a cut. My friend who is a member there stated that the greens were much slower and bumpier than usual. It probably takes a few rounds to get the hang of this place, so I look forward to playing my next round at Oak Quarry - recommended!
