"It's difficult to get a tee time in OC let alone get one for a fivesome, but this course allows them off the record. Just be nice to the pro shop and starter and be sure to keep up with the pace of play or else the Marshall will be breathing down your necks the whole round!
Plenty of hilly terrain, trees, lots of water, strategically placed bunkers, many holes that play uphill, and small elevated greens with some mean bunkers guarding them. The majority of bunkers carry lumpy, hard dirt but there are a few holes that have crushed marble in them, although I never got to play out of them.
The greens are soft and in very good condition, and your balls bite and spin quite a bit with your approach shots. Some greens are faster than others so watch out for the mountain break. Overall a decent golf experience for $73 in the OC and you can't beat the cooler weather."
